AgilityEco joins National Home Decarbonisation Group

We’re pleased to announce that AgilityEco is now a member of the National Home Decarbonisation Group (NHDG), a coalition of businesses delivering high quality energy efficiency measures and low carbon technologies at scale across the UK’s housing stock.

Most large-scale domestic retrofit work in the UK will be carried out by NHDG members like AgilityEco in the coming years. We’re looking forward to being part of the NHDG’s collaborative platform, working closely with other members to discuss three core areas: growing the retrofit supply chain, advising on policy and stimulating innovation. 

We’re delighted to join the National Home Decarbonisation Group at such a pivotal time for the UK retrofit sector.

We’re committed to delivering high-quality, large-scale energy efficiency programmes that support the UK’s net zero ambitions and make a tangible difference to households by reducing bills and tackling fuel poverty.

Joining the NHDG lets us collaborate with like-minded organisations across the industry, share best practice and contribute to shaping the policies and frameworks needed to scale up delivery across the country.

We look forward to working closely with fellow members to strengthen the supply chain, drive innovation and ensure the sector is fully equipped to meet the challenge of decarbonising millions of homes in a consistent, high-quality and compliant way.

Creating a stronger, more efficient industry 

NHDG will spearhead the charge for improvements in skills and innovation, including the digitalisation of retrofit, increased off-site solutions and the development of finance solutions to support the decarbonisation of the UK's housing stock. 

We believe that central and devolved governments need to hear a strong, positive message from experienced industry contractors and stakeholders, confidently confirming the ability of the supply chain to deliver on current and ambitious future targets.

The industry has seen the commitment to retrofit projects diluted or under-delivered in the past. However, as the need to decarbonise continues to increase, we have seen commitments ramp up significantly, with £15 billion provided to the Warm Homes Plan over the current parliament.
