The 2024-25 LEAP Impact Report: Another year of empowering communities
30 July 2025
The 2024-25 LEAP Impact Report has now been released, highlighting the ongoing support provided by our Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP) team to thousands of vulnerable households amid the ongoing fuel poverty crisis in the UK.

Through a strong network of partners and funders, the LEAP team continues to offer in-depth energy efficiency advice, free energy-saving measures, income maximisation, debt support, and appliance assistance to help families reduce energy use and stay warm.
LEAP’s achievements this year
Between April 2024 and March 2025, the LEAP team:
- Supported 33,012 households,
- Facilitated an estimated £70 million of bill savings for households,
- Provided telephone advice to 20,309 people concerned about their energy bills,
- Conducted 19,967 home visits where personalised assistance was required,
- Installed 110,148 easy measures and mailed out an additional 51,997 to customers,
- Oversaw the replacement of 787 faulty boilers, improving energy efficiency and comfort.
As we move forward, LEAP remains committed to continually adapting and expanding their services to better meet the evolving needs of vulnerable households.
