Decarbonising homes in Portsmouth and beyond

Since 2023 we’ve been working with the Portsmouth City Council-led Warmer Homes consortium of 32 local authorities across the South and East of England. Under this successful scheme we install fully funded energy efficiency upgrades and low carbon heating systems that enable residents to live in safer, warmer, cheaper-to-heat homes.

  • £23.8 million delivered under the Home Upgrade Grant (HUG2) scheme
  • £18.1 million delivered under the Warm Homes: Local Grant (WH:LG) scheme in Year 1 with
    • 1,068 homes upgraded
    • 2,779 energy efficiency measures installed

Upgrading social housing for Folkestone & Hythe

Our inhouse installer Aran partnered with Folkestone & Hythe District Council to deliver a large-scale, whole-house retrofit project funded by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.1. Completed in 2025, the project improved residents' energy efficiency and comfort by installing a range of upgrades including insulation, solar panels, air source heat pumps and ventilation.
